The reason.
Today marks the last day we'll ever have so much time of being with our Chenchen. And so, the few of us sat down during lesson and started reminscing on how far we have come in this road with her.
When she first take up the role of teaching the ever so naughty 3devotion, we dislike her just because she is that fair. How we often shouted "ghost" before she enters the class, having all kinds of comments and nicks for her. Then we moved on to Secondary Four and we made her cry because we did well for a particular examinations; it was beyond the expectation the school has for us. Her hope in us, we did not disappoint. We did well for our Mother Tongue for N level! :D For the past five months, much has improved and we have bonded even closer, especially the intensive week. Today, she spilled out how tough this road was for her and we all feel for her.
As I stood at the platform waiting for train, the thought of not seeing her as often as before struck me, and I feel sad. Perhaps we all feel the same. Sigh, it is only in times that we know we're about to leave a place will we cherish the people and the place, isn't it? We just never learn to appreciate people and give thanks enough.
Her most happy time as an educator will end after we leave, and it's the same for a certain someone. Isn't happiness such a short-lived thing? That it can never follow us the lifetime. But I think as long as the history has been created, the memories stays. And that's how human connections are connected, forever and always. I supposed.
